N502US
Tonight, the aviation gods weren’t exactly smiling on me. In fact, they kind of snubbed me. Where I normally see the planes going over my head to take off, they were headed the exact opposite direction tonight. I got a few shots but nothing all that great.
Airliners.net has a really decent site for letting you manage your upload queue. You see, every photo that gets posted to airliners.net has to be approved by their screeners before being published on the site. In the past, that wasn’t such a big deal because you just uploaded all your shots (within reason) and the screeners decided which ones to keep. The site has become so popular and has so many pictures coming in that they had to limit the number of photos you could post at a time. That number is based on your success/acceptance percentage. My queue is limited to 10 photos at a time. That’s forcing me to be very picky about the photos I upload. Besides, if I only upload my very best photos, my queue size will increse and I’m going to need that. Right now, it’s taking a week to ten days for the screeners to look at your pictures. I’ve got to get my queue number up.
Anyway, enough prattle. Here is N502US, a Northwest Airliners 757-200.
