My name is Mike Hillwig and I live in Salem, MA with my pug, Reggie. I've just started a new DBA (database administrator) job with a high tech company who makes a product I don't understand yet. Originally from the Pittsburgh area, I moved to Providence in December 2004 and then to Boston in November 2005. March of 2008 brought me to Salem on the Massachusetts north shore.

What else do you want to know? I'm an aviation geek, a foodie, have some tattoos and live with Multiple Sclerosis. Anything else, just ask.

Good Morning, Baltimore

I went with Kraig, Mark, and their friend AJ to see Hairspray tonight at the Wang Theater in Boston. It was fantastic.

Never before have I seen a scene “bust” until tonight. The actors were laughing and lost their composure.

These guys were a lot of fun, and I enjoyed myself a lot.

  1. Oh, I want to see that one, it looks great.  My son got to go to Spamalot earlier this year and loved it.  So, is the friend single?  Huh, come on, details!

  2. We saw Hairspray in Delaware last year.  The actors lost their composure then as well.  When the husband and wife were dancing and singing to each other...it was GREAT!!  That musical is definitely on my top 10...LOVED it. 
    ...but then again, I’m also a huge John Waters fan!
