Everybody knows that I love my job. There are tons of reasons why it’s a great place to work, and our title of Best Place to Work in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island (for our size company) is completely well founded.

I mentioned that the past few days we’ve had all of our national guys in Boston for training and meetings. We also flew in their wives. Part of that is for the company party tonight, but they also had an agenda for the spouses. This wasn’t just an opportunity for us to show appreciation to the guys who are on the road all the time, but it’s also an opportunity for us to show their spouses that we’re thankful to them for being without their husbands for weeks at a time.

Today, I went to see the executive assistant to our CEO. I told Michelle about what happened to my car last night. She said to come see her after I talk to my insurance company on Monday. Reason 4397 that I love my job: They’re going to make it right. Sure, this is the first car I’ve ever bought brand new, and I’m really disappointed that somebody hit it. When you’re in a hotel parking garage full of F150 and F250 trucks, my little Honda Civic was a sitting duck. Somebody could have hit my car without even realizing it. It feels good to know that my company will take care of it.
