Anybody who has been in the car with me or has come into my office knows that I love my Sirius satelite radio. It’s great to help keep out the noise in the office with my Bose headphones, and I’m also a serious news junkie. My Sporter reciever has eleven presets. Technically, there are 30, but that’s too much work. So what are on my presents?

I love the Movin EZ channel, but my new favorite is Spa 73. It’s all new age instrumental music, just like you wear hear in a spa. It’s very relaxing without being distracting. Around Christmas, they have their holiday classics channel, which I absolutely love.

There are a few other channels that I put on from time to time, including BBC World News and OutQ, their gay entertainment channel.

At one point, I had considered going to XM, but the only difference for me (because I’m not a sports fan) is whether I want Ellen or Martha. Either is fine, although it would also mean I’d have to replace hundreds of dollars in hardware. I’m sticking to Sirius.

My Sirius has been a great investment, and it has lead me to buying them as gifts. I bought one for my sister last year for Christmas. This year, I might buy one for my parents for their camper and/or my mom’s flower shop.
